Preschool Instructional Assistant - Part Time - Adams Elementary School

Preschool Instructional Assistant needed to support certified teachers in monitoring and instructing students with IEPs. Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 and small group instruction aligned to IEP goals, developing instructional materials, data collection to track academic and behavioral goals, adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs, implementing positive behavior intervention plans, crisis intervention procedures, and assisting with routine clerical tasks. The role requires assisting with health-related activities, student transfers, personal care support as needed, and collaboration with the SPED team to meet student IEP goals. Must be able to stand/walk/kneel, lift up to 25-50 lbs, and work under supervision with flexibility to support student needs throughout the day. Associate’s degree or 60 college credits or ParaPro testing completion is required. Preferred qualifications include a High School Diploma and prior paraprofessional experience in similar roles.
