Job Summary
Floating Teacher Assistant/Aide in Thrive to Five program; supports instructional delivery across multiple sites, implementing Creative Curriculum and Thrive to Five procedures, following classroom schedules and lesson plans, assisting children (including those with disabilities), promoting healthy habits and safety, supervising children, and engaging families. Roles include PBIS implementation, behavior support planning with coordinators/ECBS, and ongoing professional development. Work is 7.5 hours per day (7:30am–4:00pm), 37.5 hours per week, 44 weeks per year with summers off and potential work at Lancaster locations. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED (for Aide)
- A high school diploma or GED with 2500 hours of experience with children (for Assistant)
- 30 college credits in education or related human services field
- Combination of experience and education equivalent to PA’s Department of Human Services Assistant Group Supervisor qualifications
- Prefered: Age-appropriate CDA with 1250 hours of documented experience
