Job Summary
Teach and lead move-and-learn classes for infants to preschoolers (6 months–5 years) at JCC Denver, delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned sessions (e.g., yoga, music, tumbling) in a caregiver/child format. Prepare curriculum and demonstrations with the Family Program Manager, provide individualized feedback, maintain a safe and welcoming classroom, manage attendance and supplies, and support organizational goals. Part-time role with variable hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends; instructors receive planning time and benefits for 20+ hour weeks when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching preschool-aged students is required
- Experience instructing infants through preschool-aged children
- Candidates with early childhood education degrees or teaching licenses (or license in progress) are strongly preferred
- Ability to multi-task and manage classroom; strong communication/collaboration skills
- Knowledge of child development and positive behavior strategies
