Job Summary
Preschool Cook needed to plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals for preschool children meeting proper nutritional requirements; manage allergies and communicate identified allergies to teachers with every food delivery; follow sanitation procedures and maintain stock while collaborating with the Center Leadership team to purchase supplies and keep inventory per local/state requirements; provide excellent customer service to parents and children; flexible to daily childcare-center needs; hours 7:30am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking
- A food handling certificate or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- The ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
