Preschool Cook

Plan, prepare, and cook healthy, delicious meals for preschool children that meet proper nutritional requirements. Maintain and track food allergies for each child, communicating identified allergies to teachers daily with every food delivery. Follow proper food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures to ensure food is stored correctly. Collaborate with Center Leadership to purchase necessary food and supplies, keeping inventory records as local and state agencies require. Provide excellent customer service to parents and children while listening and communicating effectively. This role requires a High School Diploma, one year of food preparation experience, a food handling certificate, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and FBI Clearinghouse is mandatory.
