Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and cook healthy, delicious meals for preschool children while maintaining and tracking individual food allergies to communicate them daily with teachers. Follow strict food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures for proper storage, and collaborate with Center Leadership to purchase supplies and maintain inventory records per local and state agency requirements. Provide excellent customer service to parents and children with a positive attitude, remaining flexible for daily childcare center needs. Requires a High School Diploma, one year of food preparation experience, a valid food handling certificate, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking
- A food handling certificate or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- The ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
