Job Summary
Preschool Cook responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals for preschool children in a center, ensuring proper nutritional requirements, managing and communicating food allergies to teachers, and maintaining food safety and sanitation. Collaborates with Center Leadership to purchase food and supplies and keep inventory records per local/state requirements. Delivers excellent customer service to parents and children and stays flexible to daily childcare center needs. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year cooking experience, and a food handling certificate or ability to obtain one within 90 days; must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
