Job Summary
Preschool Cook plans, prepares, and cooks healthy meals for preschool children that meet proper nutritional requirements; manages food allergies and communicates identified allergies to teachers; follows food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures; collaborates with the Center Leadership team to purchase food and supplies and maintain inventory; provides excellent customer service to parents and children with a positive attitude; must be flexible to daily childcare center needs; requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year cooking experience, and a food handling certificate or ability to obtain one within 90 days; ability to lift 25 lbs.
