Job Summary
Co-lead a preschool classroom by planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans while fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning, collaborate with a co-teacher to maintain consistent routines and behavior management strategies, and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress. Observe, document, and assess child development to maintain accurate records, while assisting in keeping the classroom clean and organized. This role requires a Hish School diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, prior experience with preschool-aged children, CPR/First Aid certification, and a passion for early childhood education. Required Qualifications
- Hish School diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood development
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
