Job Summary
Assist in planning and implementing routines, curriculum, meals, and activities for preschool and infant toddler children in classrooms of 14-20 and 7-8 children respectively. Work under Lead Teacher(s) and support the Head Start program. Requires a CDA Certificate or commitment to obtain it, and basic computer skills. Entry-level position ideal for those with some childcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- Basic computer experience is required (i.e. email, word processing, internet navigation)
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate or a commitment to obtain a CDA within 1 year of employment is required (paid by the employer)
- Previous babysitting or childcare experience is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Early Childhood Education Credits are preferred
- Associate and/or Bachelor degrees are preferred
