Job Summary
Conduct monthly classroom observations of daily devotion activities and provide timely feedback to the Director. Mentor and model spiritual development programming while training team members on curriculum implementation and excellence expectations. Lead chapel, teach biblical truths, and facilitate faith-based experiences like Journey to the Cross and A Night in Bethlehem. Communicate weekly with parents through ProCare, sharing details and pictures of children participating in activities, and send home evidence of learning after each activity. Assist center management with onboarding new team members regarding the Spiritual Development curriculum and programming.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meets HHS and DFPS caregiver qualifications (age, background check, medical clearance, annual training)
- Valid driver's license (if transporting children)
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs as needed
- Maintain clear visual and auditory supervision of children
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching or childcare experience
- Early Childhood Education coursework or certification
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
