Job Summary
Lead the daily operations of the preschool to ensure a safe, high-quality, compliant learning environment; mentor and coach teachers to deliver developmentally appropriate, inclusive programs; build strong partnerships with families to support communication, enrollment, and community engagement; oversee enrollment, staffing, scheduling and administrative systems; monitor program quality, licensing compliance, and continuous improvement; collaborate with leadership on curriculum implementation, staffing, and school-wide success; foster a positive, reflective workplace culture and equity-centered practices across the school community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with Supervisor Permit through CTCC OR 24 ECE units with 3 units of Supervision
- Experience teaching, managing, or directing a preschool (or equivalent experience)
- Valid California Driver’s License/ID
- Proof of negative TB test results
- Verification of occupational physical clearance
- Criminal fingerprint clearance
- 18 years of age or job permit clearance
