Job Summary
Lead by example as Preschool Center Assistant Director at The Learning Experience. Oversee center operations, ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards, recruit/train engaging staff, guide teachers with the proprietary curriculum, manage financials including accounts payable/receivable, monthly P&L and payroll, and drive enrollment growth through in-person and virtual tours and community events. Build a trusted, inclusive environment for families and staff, and partner with leadership on growth and program excellence. Requires 2+ years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least 1 year (required), plus state credential requirements and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (highly preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (highly preferred)
- State-specific Administrative or Director credential (required, per role)
- Two or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year (required)
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings
