Job Summary
Preschool Business Director overseeing daily center operations, staff coordination, enrollment activities, and family engagement across infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. Partners with the Center Director to ensure licensing compliance, classroom quality, and a positive experience for children and families. Responsibilities include operational coordination, maintaining regulatory documentation, staff scheduling, supporting enrollment tours and family onboarding, ensuring ratio management, and providing leadership presence during opening/closing shifts. The role requires Maryland childcare qualification under applicable regulations, with strong organizational and communication skills and readiness to grow toward Center Director qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Infant/Toddler and Preschool qualified under Maryland childcare regulations required
- Candidates close to Director qualification strongly preferred
- Prior childcare leadership or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to rotate shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM
- Must meet Maryland licensing requirements
