Job Summary
Safely transport school-age children to and from local elementary schools while conducting daily vehicle safety inspections and maintaining transportation logs. Ensure children are securely loaded, supervised during transit, and that all Virginia childcare licensing and transportation procedures are followed. Support school-age classrooms and activities between runs, communicating professionally with families, school staff, and center leadership. Maintain a positive attitude with children and team members while meeting Monday–Friday full-time or part-time schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and transportation requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Prior childcare experience
- Experience driving children or passengers
- Strong reliability, communication, and supervision skills
