Job Summary
Lead engaging lessons and activities including storytelling, music, arts, and discovery play that promote whole-child development while fostering a nurturing classroom culture where children feel loved, valued, and supported. Model faith-based values and positive behavior while guiding routines, adapting instruction to meet the unique needs of each child, and promoting healthy habits like hygiene, nutrition, and self-care. Partner with families to ensure smooth daily transitions and open communication, maintaining clear visual and auditory supervision of children in an active environment requiring frequent sitting, standing, kneeling, and bending. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meets HHS and DFPS caregiver qualifications (age, background check, medical clearance, annual training)
- Valid driver's license (if transporting children)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching or childcare experience
- Early Childhood Education coursework or certification
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
