Preschool Assistant Teacher

Implement a child-centered curriculum and learning environment that encourages positive social interaction and self-motivation for children of all abilities. Support the social and emotional development of 3- to 5-year-olds while addressing challenging behaviors through observation, preventive measures, and skill-building. Gather and maintain individual, family, and classroom data for documentation, assessment, and program planning. Create partnerships with families to establish positive interaction patterns and work with Family Advocates to ensure coordinated services meet individual needs. Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and conduct daily health checks. Participate in assigned meetings, events, and training as required.
