Job Summary
Support the preparation, organization, and maintenance of a safe, engaging Montessori learning environment for children ages 3–6. Foster students' independence, confidence, and well-being through respectful guidance and individualized support while maintaining active supervision. Collaborate closely with the Lead Guide and school community to contribute to classroom success and school life. Build positive, professional relationships with families by maintaining confidentiality and strong communication. Ensure student safety and compliance with school policies and daily routines. Requires a high school diploma, Montessori Assistant Training preferred, and experience working with young children in a Montessori setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Successful completion of all required background checks and licensing requirements
- Ability to actively engage with children and perform the physical duties required to maintain a safe, organized, and dynamic classroom environment
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Assistant Training or completion of Montessori coursework
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a Montessori or early childhood setting
- Knowledge of Montessori philosophy or a demonstrated commitment to learning authentic Montessori practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a professional educational team
