Job Summary
Lead a team of 20–40 educators by mentoring staff, conducting performance reviews, and guiding personalized growth plans. Ensure 100% compliance with licensing, safety, sanitation, and federal/state regulations while driving financial success for the program. Build strong connections with parents through one-on-one meetings and host marketing events and community outreach activities. Model professionalism and uphold preschool standards to create a safe, welcoming environment that exceeds expectations. Maintain a full-time schedule with a yearly salary range of $40,148.15 - $54,200.
Required Qualifications
- Proven success as an Assistant Director at a large school
- 3–5 years of hands-on teaching experience
- Meets state licensing standards, including criminal background screening and fingerprinting
- Bachelor's degree + 6+ months in group childcare
- Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education
- Associate's degree (or equivalent) + 1+ year in a supervisory role and 2+ years in group childcare
- Deep knowledge of national/state education standards, licensing, fire, health, and OSHA regulations
- Strong grasp of USDA Nutritional Standards for Schools
- At least 21 years old
- Corporate driving requirements met
