Job Summary
Preschool Center Assistant Director at The Learning Experience in Austin, TX leads by example to create a trusting, inclusive environment for children and staff, ensures licensing and health/safety compliance, recruits and coaches staff, guides teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum, drives enrollment and family engagement, and manages center operations including payroll and monthly P&L reporting; role emphasizes leadership, curriculum alignment, staff development, and community/marketing activities to grow enrollment.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year of center leadership/management experience (required)
- State-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (highly preferred)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
