Job Summary
Lead and support center operations as Preschool Assistant Center Director in Glen Allen, VA, overseeing center management, staff development, licensing compliance, curriculum guidance, and community engagement. Drive enrollment growth and family retention through tours, events, and marketing; manage administrative tasks including payroll and P&L reporting; coach and build a qualified staff team; ensure health and safety standards and adherence to local/state licensing rules; partner with the Center Director to implement our proprietary curriculum and deliver a nurturing, inclusive environment for children and families.
Required Qualifications
- two or more years of center management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year of center leadership experience (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (highly preferred)
- state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
