Job Summary
Assist in implementing engaging daily learning activities and supervise children while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development by building caring relationships with children and families. Prepare classroom materials, assist with meals and routines, and maintain cleanliness and licensing standards. Collaborate with Lead Teachers and participate in staff meetings and professional development. Work alongside experienced educators at multiple Twin Cities metro locations to create warm, engaging classrooms where young children learn through exploration and play.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet Minnesota DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications (or willingness to obtain qualifications)
- Experience working with young children (childcare, preschool, nannying, camps, education, or related experience)
Desired Qualifications
- Early Childhood coursework, CDA, or related education preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children
