Job Summary
Preschool & After-School Program Teacher in a licensed childcare center responsible for leading a classroom, creating weekly lesson plans, and supporting early childhood social, emotional, and cognitive development. Must communicate effectively with parents, collaborate with a co-teaching team, and ensure smooth daily operations within a Monday–Friday schedule (e.g., 7am–1pm). Requires at least 12 ECE units, classroom leadership experience, and a clean background/medical clearance; California ID or driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Benefits include health/dental insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts. Pay is $19 per hour with part-time/full-time available and in-person work in Cypress, CA and La Palma, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education Units (minimum of 12)
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility a plus
- Clean background check and medical clearance
- Reliable transportation
- California Identification Card or Driver's License (Required)
- Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
