Job Summary
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers developing basic designs for modular and hybrid data center proposals, including power rooms and cable landing stations. Interpret customer requirements and RFQs while coordinating technical disciplines across architecture, civil, electrical, HVAC, monitoring, and fire protection systems. Supervise the preparation and review of technical documentation for Vertiv modular data center solutions, incorporating client needs into proposed architectures. Provide technical assistance during sales activities and coordinate with customers and suppliers. Requires 10% international travel for meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of data center design, understanding of technical systems, functionalities, and architecture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with multiple engineering and manufacturing teams to translate architecture and concepts into design and implementation
- Client interaction for presenting solutions and concepts, and through documented specifications
- Leadership skills
- Computer skills: proficient user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
- English minimum B2 level
- International travel for customer meetings, seminars, and training
