Job Summary
Presales Business Manager - Federal leads presale strategy and total presale ownership for assigned projects, driving revenue, margins, and successful completion of sole-source and RFP initiatives. Responsibilities include developing implementation approaches and service plans to win projects, aligning with cross-functional teams (Systems Integration, Service, Sales, Product Groups), meeting customer requirements with value-based alternatives, and ensuring on-time project delivery. The role emphasizes ownership of projects, ability to coordinate diverse teams (engineering, proposal specialists, sales, service), and strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Location is hybrid at Linthicum, MD with onsite requirements Tue–Thu; travel up to 25% is expected. Target base salary ranges from $85,000 to $100,000. Benefits and relocation details provided. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, communications, or engineering preferred
- 3+ years of engineering, presales, project/program management, systems experience
- excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
- ability to manage multiple people and deadlines
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and Google Apps
