Job Summary
Produce and quality control all plates, assemble content and contract color proofs, and maintain schedule and data collection sheets. Perform work at a rapid pace while lifting, carrying, and handling materials up to 50 lbs. Maintain continuous standing and walking, with occasional overhead work and climbing as needed. Wear required hearing, eye, and safety protection throughout the shift. Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including overtime after 40 hours at time and a half. Join Sheridan, a leading print and publishing service provider, to support production of magazines, catalogs, and scientific journals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills/knowledge
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Continuous standing
- Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Pass company color perception test
- Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
- Schedule is Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM – 40 hours/week
- Required to work overtime, according to departmental policy
