Job Summary
Conduct daily essential assistance for residents including hygiene, feeding, elimination, and sleep support. Maintain a safe, clean environment in both private and communal spaces while ensuring physical and emotional well-being. Observe residents continuously to report any anomalies to the nursing team and provide attentive emotional support. Accompany residents during mobility and outings to ensure their safety. Work under the supervision of the unit head in close collaboration with clinical staff, adhering to a schedule with one weekend off every two weeks and up to 36.25 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Au moins 1 an d'expérience auprès des personnes âgées
- Cours de préposé aux bénéficiaires d'au moins 750 heures, incluant la certification PDSB
- Un an de formation en santé, assistance et soins infirmiers (SASI) avec un premier stage, incluant la certification PDSP
- Un an de formation collégiale en soins infirmiers avec un premier stage, incluant la certification PDSP
- Une bonne capacité à collaborer avec divers professionnels et à travailler en équipe
- Savoir communiquer vos besoins et défis quotidiens de manière claire et constructive
- Être assidu(e) et ponctuel(le) dans votre travail
- Adhérer à nos valeurs d'écoute, de bienveillance, de respect et d'empathie
- Maîtriser le français (parlé et écrit)
- Être disponible une fin de semaine sur deux et sur deux quarts de travail
