Prepared Foods Team Member

Greet customers in the department and ensure their orders are filled to meet their expectations. Learn about products to answer questions and make suggestions that enhance the shopping experience. Handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment. Replenish prepared foods cases, rotate product, and follow code dating procedures. Record special orders accurately and maintain cleanliness of the department and work area. Assist in maintaining cooler and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries. Rotate and check code dates on products. Assist in other departments as required. This role supports the Prepared Foods team at Giant Eagle Inc., offering opportunities to grow within a family of diverse and talented Team Members.
