Job Summary
Service customers at the prepared foods counter by fulfilling orders, pricing merchandise, and packaging products as directed. Maintain current product knowledge and keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Rotate and stock merchandise while providing professional, timely customer service and adhering to company attendance policies. Handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods in an environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and odors. Culinary experience preferred; legible writing and phone etiquette required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
- Proper phone etiquette while taking orders and messages
- Ability to effectively communicate between peers
- Ability to handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary or food service experience preferred
