Job Summary
Direct and manage the Prepared Foods department by overseeing buying, stocking, maintenance, and training staff. Maintain clean and orderly department areas, ensure correct signage, and monitor cooler and freezer temperatures. Place orders for vendors such as CPW and Albert's, correct price discrepancies, and perform opening and closing duties. Provide supervisory oversight to staff, document training and coaching in Paylocity, and maintain accurate record keeping in the POS system. Monitor sales per labor hours and adjust shifts as needed. Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to the Code of Conduct and cooperative principles.

- Place orders for Co-op Partners Warehouse (CPW), Albert's, Reinhart, and other local and regional vendors
- Follow established procedures for receiving, credits, and invoice coding
- Assist in maintaining appropriate shrink policies
- Perform opening and/or closing duties for the Prepared Foods department
- Monitor sales per labor hours and shorten shifts if necessary
- Use equipment safely
- Monitor cooler and freezer temperatures
- Advise appropriate parties of equipment problems
- Always stock product - timely, accurately, rotated, and attractive
- Correct price discrepancies according to established policies
- Understand record keeping in the POS system
- Maintain basic operations of the department in the absence of the manager
