Prepared Food Specialist (Full Time)

Job Summary
Prepare and maintain deli/hot case and hot food bar, assist in inventory control, rotate stock, prep for and assist with catering orders, and ensure time/temperature food safety standards. Responsible for merchandising, stocking, and presenting ready-to-eat items, assisting with store demonstrations and brand representation at events, supporting the Deli/Bakery Manager, and collaborating with guests, vendors, and other departments. Requires food-cooking experience, food-safety certification, strong merchandising and culinary skills, sanitation proficiency, and basic computer skills (Excel/Word/email). Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow Busch’s policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years cooking experience
- Food safety certification
- Proficient merchandising skills to ensure fresh and appealing displays in ‘ready to eat’ areas
- Proficient culinary skills to follow recipes, sauté, work with knives, create appealing product, and determine product quality
- Proficient cleaning abilities to meet sanitation and visual standards
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and email
- Able to learn and use a variety of proprietary applications and technology
