Job Summary
As a Prepared Foods Clerk, responsibilities include maintaining an attractive prepared foods department through proper displays and merchandising, verifying product quality, and assisting in food preparation including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods. The role requires strong communication skills, basic math skills for weighing and pricing, and physical dexterity for food preparation. Additionally, the clerk must maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations, monitor inventory, and assist customers when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have strong communication skills for dealing with guests and other employees
- Must have basic math skills for weighing and pricing products
- Must have dexterity in hands to enable slicing, chopping, and preparing all products available in the Food Service department
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds up to twenty percent (20%) of the time
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
