Job Summary
The Prep Technician is responsible for sanitizing products prior to entering the cleanroom and ensuring cleanliness according to standard operating procedures. Essential duties include selecting appropriate sanitization materials, wiping material surfaces, verifying materials and documentation, and documenting contact time. Required qualifications include a high school diploma and the ability to maintain gowning certification. Candidates must have a strong commitment to following procedures, attention to detail, and the physical ability to perform labor tasks such as lifting and moving materials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to obtain sterile gowning qualification
- Must have strong discipline and following of Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly
- Must be able to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment to include a respirator each day
- Physically capable of being on feet for up to five hours doing physical labor of sanitizing the work area
- Gain and maintain gowning certification
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 40+ pounds.
