Job Summary
Prepare and plate items for various food stations following recipes and restaurant guidelines; set up and restock stations; maintain par levels and proper labeling and storage; ensure quality and sanitary handling of all prepared items; operate and maintain kitchen equipment; maintain a clean, orderly cooking station and work under pressure in a fine dining environment; perform additional duties as directed by Chefs or Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience in a similar position
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Basic understanding of cooking
- Ability to take direction
- Good listening and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
