Job Summary
As a Prep Cook, you will support the culinary team by preparing cooking elements according to recipes and standards, maintain station sanitation, rotate and label inventory, and assist with order readiness while working in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. Responsibilities include washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients; staging and stocking the station; ensuring proper product rotation and documentation; and adhering to safety and uniform policies. The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays."
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus
- Previous prep cook or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
