Job Summary
Prep Cook ensures the highest quality food is prepared per the exact recipe specifications at all times from our scratch kitchen. A Prep Cook is responsible for all aspects of their assigned station: follows food safety procedures, daily prep list, prepares specific recipes for line cooks throughout their shift, puts away deliveries as they have been delivered; cleans, sanitizes and maintains equipment, utensils and tools throughout kitchen. The essential tasks include setting up and maintaining the prep station, following recipe adherence, ensuring food quality, collaborating with team, and supporting line cooks with restocking and punctuality.

- Ability to demonstrate exceptional knife skills.
- Ability to multitask during your shift.
- Ability to effectively communicate with your fellows and management.
- Exhibit a positive energy, initiative and enthusiasm throughout the workday.
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Shows respect to all team members throughout the restaurant.
- Demonstrates Basic English reading skills.
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to work in elevated temperatures.
- Ability to work using your hand continuously.
- Ability to work continuously while bending, reaching and twisting.
