Job Summary
Prepare various food products for restaurant and banquet operations by following recipes and product directions while maintaining quality control through daily freshness monitoring. Operate kitchen equipment for weighing, measuring, mixing, cutting, and assembling food items. Transfer supplies between storage and work areas, receive and inventory food and beverage products, and ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, and temperature checks. Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Food Safety and Sanitation Training
- Ability to read and speak English
