Job Summary
Lead all heavy prep for the day, ensuring ingredients are ready for smooth and efficient service. Maintain consistency and adherence to recipes while prepping veggies, proteins, sauces, and other components from fresh, high-quality ingredients. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations and follow food safety protocols diligently to keep the prep area clean and organized. This role involves working 32 weeks during the school term with 20 weeks off, or assisting with new store openings over the summer.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiasm for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors
