Job Summary
Prep cooks prep ingredients and sauces for recipes, follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintain clean and organized kitchen equipment, and work in a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities include prepping vegetables, proteins, and sauces; following recipe procedures and spec sheets in English; adhering to safety, sanitation, and storage guidelines; and performing duties with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 or older
- Available to work weekend and holiday shifts
- Ability to read recipes, prep sheets, spec charts in English
- Able to competently handle a knife and other kitchen utensils
- Able to competently operate kitchen equipment
- Continuous standing, bending and lifting up to 60 pounds
- Exposure to heat of equipment and kitchen environment
