Job Summary
Set up and sanitize workstations, follow daily prep lists, and measure ingredients for cooking processes. Maintain clear communication with the executive chef and city manager while keeping all station and work areas clean. Take ownership of assigned tasks in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment serving hot startups. This role requires a ServSafe Food Handler card, valid driver's license, and experience in previous kitchen positions such as prep or dishwasher. You will work weekdays from 7:30am to 3:30pm, lifting up to 50 lbs, with an hourly rate of $25 and company-sponsored health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Has worked in previous kitchen roles such prep/dishwasher
- Has had experience with catering and event servicing
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has a working knowledge of diverse cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Is experienced with Google applications (Gmail, Google Drive), Microsoft Office
- This position must maintain ServSafe Food Handler card
- must have a valid drivers license
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
