Job Summary
Prep Cook/Line Cook/Receiver/Inside & Outside Expo role at Hard Rock Cafe. Responsibilities include receiving and ordering product, preparing recipes to spec, labeling and refrigerating prepped items, opening/closing duties, stocking and breaking down kitchen stations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, operating dish machine, practicing safety and sanitation standards, and liaising between Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff. Requires ability to stand 8+ hours, tolerate heat/cold/chemicals/noise, and lift up to 100 pounds; must be at least 19 years old and maintain professional appearance. Pay range: $19-$25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Performing duties which require bending & reaching
- Lifting & transporting up to 100-pound containers, dish racks, and trashcans
- Standing or moving, for up to 8+ hours
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
- Maintaining a well-groomed appearance
- Following all uniform guidelines
- Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards
- Recycling products
- Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
