Job Summary
The Prep Cook will support the Executive Chef and kitchen team with daily tasks to ensure readiness for service, while maintaining kitchen prep standards and cleanliness. Responsibilities include executing assigned prep tasks accurately and timely, assisting in daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen, and ensuring proper ingredient preparation. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, excellent knife skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of relative experience in hospitality industry
- Great knife skills and experience on hot and cold line
- Maintain proper food certifications specific to State Laws
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong decision making abilities and the ability to work independently and with all levels of leadership in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
