Job Summary
Prep Cook responsibilities across multiple kitchen stations (Breader, Pantry, Shrimper, Fish Cutter, Stocker, Shrimp/Oyster Station) at Sea Island in San Antonio. Prepare recipes as listed on the Daily Prep Board or directed by management, cross-trained to support cooks, properly execute recipes, maintain clean and organized stations, and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Emphasizes teamwork to create a positive work environment, adherence to daily procedures, station setup, waste tracking, and completion of a positional training program with validation measures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read
- Standing and walking during entire shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work accurately and under pressure
- Team player with other employees
