Prep Cook

Prepare ingredients according to recipes and company specifications, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and stocking items. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep area throughout each shift while following all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures. Support Line Cooks and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations, properly label and rotate food items, and assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and restocking tasks as needed. No experience is required, though prior prep cook experience is a plus. This role is part of JDK, the largest franchiser of the Perkins brand, where team members live out guiding principles of staying hungry, being humble, and working smart.
