Job Summary
Prep Cook (On-Call) responsible for prepping and portioning sandwich and salad ingredients, dressings/sauces for multiple delis. Tasks include slicing cheeses and meats, weighing portions, chopping vegetables, making dressings from standardized recipes, cleaning and organizing work areas, labeling and dating food, and following all food safety guidelines. Requires 1+ years in a deli or food prep role, basic kitchen terminology, ability to follow recipes, neat appearance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay is $15-18/hour with free shift meal and growth opportunities. Location: Norfolk, VA.
