Job Summary
Assist in preparation of all food items following recipes, clean the entire kitchen area and equipment, and properly store and label cooked food. Check computer printouts for menu amounts and recipes, report discrepancies to the supervisor, and submit food usage reports. Advise the supervisor of any kitchen equipment repair or replacement needs. Perform any other related kitchen duties as assigned. Maintain high standards for work areas and appearance while utilizing a team-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel that is culinary and hospitality driven
- A strong work ethic and commitment to uncompromising quality
- A team-oriented approach and a calm demeanor during time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
- Willingness to cross-train into other areas and Happy Day restaurants
- Maintain high standards for work areas and appearance
- Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to excellence
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Access to reliable transportation
