Job Summary
Provide support to the culinary team by properly preparing food items in a timely manner and in a sanitary environment. Read and follow directions on the daily prep list; prepare foods in the correct quantity and style as shown by a supervisor; properly season and taste to meet standards; maintain a clean and safe workspace; organize and store food deliveries daily; follow FIFO labeling; utilize basic knife skills and kitchen equipment; read and follow basic recipe directions; assist with labeling and handling of prepared foods; participate in environmental programs and dress/code requirements; may assist in Employee Café or other outlets; embrace Sundance Guiding Principles; work flexibly to meet business demands; must be able to read/write English; must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally; must be 18+. Education: Entry level kitchen position; no previous experience required; Certifications: must possess or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days.
