Job Summary
Prep Cook responsible for washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables, proteins, and items to recipe specs; follow food safety standards, temperature logging, and sanitation; stock and rotate prep stations; assist with receiving deliveries; keep prep areas and equipment clean; support line cooks and communicate with the kitchen team; requires 1–2 years kitchen experience, solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety, and a food handler certification; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; teamwork oriented with a focus on quality and hospitality.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, catering, or institutional)
- Solid knife skills and comfort with basic cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
