Job Summary
Prep Cook needed at Cotton Patch Cafe to support scratch-made Texas favorites. Responsibilities include washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; following food safety standards and temperature logging; stocking and rotating stations; assisting with receiving deliveries; keeping prep areas clean; and supporting line cooks while communicating with the kitchen team. Must have 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred, solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety practices, and a Food handler certification. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Flexible scheduling available with full-time and part-time options, paid training, and advancement opportunities.
