Job Summary
Prep Cook at Cotton Patch Cafe responsible for washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; following food safety standards including temperature logging; stocking and rotating stations; assisting with deliveries; keeping prep areas clean; supporting line cooks during service; and communicating with the kitchen team. We value 1–2 years of kitchen experience, solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety, and a valid food handler certification. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Flexible scheduling available (full-time and part-time), paid training, advancement opportunities, and a strong emphasis on hospitality in a Texas-based brand with 46 locations across 2 states.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years kitchen experience preferred
- Food handler certification required
- Solid knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices
